Pay scales follow the Services (Pay and Allowances) Order, 2026:

• Computer Operator (Grade 13) — 01 — Tk 24,000–58,000 — Science Honours graduate; typing Bn 25 / Eng 30 wpm; Standard Aptitude Test
• Head Assistant (Grade 13) — 05 — Tk 24,000–58,000 — Graduate (2nd class/CGPA); typing Eng 30 / Bn 25 wpm
• Upper Division Assistant (Grade 14) — 08 — Tk 23,500–56,800 — Graduate (2nd class/CGPA); typing Eng 30 / Bn 25 wpm
• Stenotypist-cum-Computer Operator (Grade 14) — 13 — Tk 23,500–56,800 — Graduate; shorthand Eng 70 / Bn 45 wpm; typing Eng 30 / Bn 25 wpm
• Driver (Grade 16) — 01 — Tk 21,900–52,900 — SSC or equivalent; valid light-vehicle licence; must pass driving test
• Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist (Grade 16) — 09 — Tk 21,900–52,900 — HSC (2nd division/GPA); typing 20 wpm Eng and Bangla
• Office Support Staff (Office Sohayok) (Grade 20) — 10 — Tk 20,000–48,400 — SSC or equivalent

Total: 47 posts. Office: 2nd 12-storey Government Office Building (4th floor), Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000. One candidate may apply for one post only.

Age, residency and selection

• Age 18–32 years as of 01 October 2026. Affidavits are not accepted for age proof.
• Only genuine permanent residents of Dhaka District.
• Must be a Bangladeshi citizen; not married (or promised) to a non-citizen; no conviction for moral turpitude.
• Written + oral for all posts. Practical exams also for serials 1–6; Office Support Staff need written pass then viva.
• Serving staff need proper-channel permission and original NOC at viva. Taxes Department staff must tick Departmental Candidate.
• Latest government quota rules apply. False papers cancel candidature. Lobbying disqualifies. No TA/DA for exams.

How to apply

1. Open tax3.teletalk.com.bd and fill the online form carefully.
2. Upload a colour photo (300×300 px, max 100 KB) and signature (300×80 px, max 60 KB).
3. Review the Applicant’s Copy before paying. After fee payment, no edits are allowed.
4. Pay by Teletalk prepaid SMS within 72 hours of receiving your User ID. Unpaid forms are not accepted.
5. Keep a colour print of the Applicant’s Copy for practical / viva.

Fees (non-refundable)

• Serials 1–6: Tk 112 (100 + 12 service charge)
• Serial 7 (Office Support Staff): Tk 56 (50 + 6)
• Small ethnic groups, persons with disability, third gender: Tk 56 for any post

Admit card and viva documents

Exam notices go by SMS and on the official site / notice board. Download a colour admit card from the apply portal using your User ID and password. For viva, bring originals plus attested copies of certificates, NID/birth certificate (address changes after 01 Oct 2026 not accepted), residency proof, character certificate, Applicant’s Copy and photos as listed in the circular. Final selectees need a Civil Surgeon fitness certificate and security clearance.
